New window shades and Battery Pump cover
My Mini blinds that came with the HI-Lo were tired , some very hard to work and another had a broken string. I replaced them with roll up shades. They are a nice tan that goes with the interior and blocks out the light almost totally , which the wife and I like so we can sleep in late.
My 2003 came with the black Battery & pump cover , as well as the black rear bumper storage cover. I think the newer trailers that came with the Diamond plate looked much better. So I bought a sheet of Diamond plate and using the black plates as a template , cut it to fit. Drilled out the rivets on the hinges to reuse them and re riveted it all back on... Looks nice.!

Fancy!! Good job on the cover. We have that type on the 2310H. Just a word of caution, make sure you have clearance above the battery terminals. That diamond plate makes a good conductor. Be careful not to set heavy things on the cover. Terminal covers or anything that will insulate the terminals from the cover will work.
Enjoy!

Thanks Rich , I was already leery of how close the terminals were to my old cover , and previously put some heavy duty rubber covers on the positive post , just in case it would make contact with the cover.

I did something similar when I installed the second battery in my HiLo. I put plastic covers over all the battery posts at the end of each cable. Then, the wing nuts that were used to connect aux wiring (a charger cable to my Battery Maintainer) were coated with Liquid Tape and I put neoprene tubing over the exposed bolts at each post.
That was nice work, Tom.

What GREAT Mod!!! Very CLassy. Shudda come from the factory that way!
I am planning on the same mod on my '94 Funmaker, but I want to make my new box deeper than the original, so I can accomidate two batteries. I also want to move the pump forward so if I ever have a leak, the pump will be easier to fill with the top down. I would like to suggest one little possible thing I would do to improve the finish is to install the hinge inside of the box, giving it a little nicer finish. JOB WELL DONE!! CAMP ON!!

I haven't measured to see if there is clearance, but a piece of angle mounted underneath the hinge would help to strength the cover.
