Restoration/renovation of 61 Hi-Lo

Enjoyed your post! From the looks of things so far, the trailer's in far better shape than I would have ever expected for one so "vintage". :)

I think you have a gem there.

Day 2 blog post is up...even though this is actually Day 3. I'm a day behind in blogging. It's getting there though! Today I actually have the birch done, ceilings and insulation installed. Tomorrow I have to repair some wood rot on the side and hopefully I'll get the skin all sealed back up.

More work getting done on the 61 Hi-Lo. We have the upper half raised (that was a bit scary!) and now working to repair some rotted wood. I'm praying that we can get it all back together ok once I'm done so it's on the tracks. Mine has these little white glue stick pieces that fell out of each track. I assume these are stoppers of some sort? Since they fell out I'm not real sure where they go exactly in the rail track so that may be a challenge. If anyone has a photo or can advise I'd appreciate it!
