Default Steps bouncing out

On a recent trip home from the garage, the steps on our 19TL bounced out of their cradled position. I know it happened on some very rough patches of freeway in the city. Has anyone invented an ingenious way to better secure them for travel?

Never had that problem, but as we say in farm country, "Duct tape and baling wire will fix about anything!" But, seriously, I'd probably throw a snug bungee cord around the steps.

I thought I'd hit some rough patches on interstates under construction, but you beat me in that category!!

Good luck and travel safe!

Never had that happen either. Bungee cord or cargo strap should secure them.
