Default Strap for tip out on 2510

The strap that lets the sofa tip in and out is fraying and needs to be replaced. Any suggestions as to where I can find a replacement? This is for a 2510 hi-lo, a 2010, 25' model.

Thanks, Dean McGriff

You should be able to make one. It's just a nylon strap. You could also try the links below.

The strap was easy but I opened up the comparment with the motor above the sofa and see no easy way to replace the strap. Any suggestions?

I replaced the strap for the 2510 tip out but cannot get it to work. How do you thread it through the winch? Help!

Maybe this thread will answer a question for us.
2007 HiLo Towlite 24T After our last camping trip this July, the side out or pop out side with the sofa strap came loose. We opened the wood access panel above the sofa and inserted the strap back into the center shaft of the winding motor. The switch by the door that activates the in/out or up/down motion of the motor, works ok pulling inward; but stops shortly after trying up. I realize that one needs to help the weight of the side up to about 45 degrees or so. The motor gearbox action just operates for a few seconds and stops with a slack strap. Could it be a fault with the switch or the motor itself?
One of those things, it was working just fine until obviously the strap came loose without us knowing it when we brought it in and rested it down to floor level.
Any advice would be appreciated. I did have one reply in July reminding me to assist the lift, that I know.

It will go up half way but then when you push it up, it won't work the resst of the way out.

Try the switch in the opposite direction after you get to the halfway point.

I did. That's how it worked originally. I don't think I brought the strap down through the pulleys in the correct way.
