New look coming for HiLo forum!
Hi folks - I wanted to let you know that later this week the forum is getting a long overdue facelift. The look of the forum will be updated and a couple of new features added. There should be very little time offline while this is completed and all your posts and images should be retained.
Here's a sneak peak:

Just my biased opinion but I like the current blue much better than that red.
Remember the national outrage ... Better dead than red.

Agreed! Red is an "angry" color. I prefer blue too, and, the rest of the format is very nice.

Not bad, the current look, reminds me when I was connecting to Bulletin Boards using dial up modems some 20 years ago.

Looks like more of a garnet color.

It's hard to really get the feel for the new look from a small screen shot and I think that once you've had a chance to adjust to the look, you may actually like it.

It's not a bright red - you are correct, it's somewhat muted.
The current view for the forum is the old software default and it would be nice to have a unique look. Many forums have this stock blue color.
The color is reflected in some cool HiLos note the color selections....

Just my opine, don't care about the colors, except the print. Long as it's black and white and written by the same wonderful people, putting out the same wonderful information and telling of their wonderful experiences, then the comradery will still flow. Anything making it easier to navigate always helps. Example, I was on the forum for about a month before I learned where the "Private Messages" could be accessed from.

I would never think to look up in the corner to see if I had any private messages, some could have been the for days before I saw them. I finally figured out that I could get an email notification when a private message arrived. Maybe a more noticeable spot on the home page would help with messaging.

Wrascal, remember Kermit said, "It's not easy being green".
