Great question Sam, I know a few others may be wondering this too. The instructions sound worse then what they are, but I promise it's easier then working on you're Hi-Lo. Like most things, there's more then one way to do it. To keep things simple, I'll give you the basic way to add a picture, then if you need more help please ask. I'd be happy to walk you though it over the phone too. You can't hurt anything, so don't be afraid to try!
These instructions assume that the pictures are available on your computer. Print these instructions (if possible), as this will make them easier to use them as you're uploading your first picture. Please read the instructions all the way though before trying to actually upload a picture, as this will make them easier to follow.
1. Start a new thread (message) just like you normally would.
2. Look just above the text box that you are typing in, look for the "Black Paper clip". (You'll see an "A", and then a white smiley face, and then the black paper clip.)
3. Click on the "Paper Clip", the "Manage Attachment" window will open.
4. Click the "Browse" button in the Manage Attachment window. It's located near the top center. This will bring up another window that you will use to find the picture that you want to upload.
5. Browse to the picture that you want to upload and double click on it. The browse window will close and you will be looking at the "Manage Attachment" window again, but this time, the "Upload File" box will have the path to the picture that you want to upload in it.
6. Click the "Upload" button located in the upper right hand corner of the "Manage Attachment" window. WAIT until the text disappears out of the "Upload File" box, this means the file has completed uploading.
7. If you want to upload another picture, repeat steps 5 and 6, you can upload up to 5 pictures. When you're finished, close the "Manage Attachment" window. Continue to post your message as you normally do.
NOTE: If you are having problems finding your picture in steps 4 and 5, as an alternative, you could manually type or paste the file location into the "Upload File" box. To do this this, locate your picture file on your computer (don't open it), right click on the file and left click "properties". A property window will open, look for the "Location", copy the text there and paste it into the "Upload File" box.
You can do it!
