Hi, Glad to hear that you are starting a club!!! The hardest thing about getting started is being patient while people find you. Make a couple of post here on HTF too. Make one post in
the CLUB area, and make another post in the
General area. The post you make in the club area should be a sort of business card, take a look at the other club listing to get an idea. The post you make in the general area should be an introduction of yourself and the club. Basically, your just getting the word out. Next, you want to go to as many different RV websites with forums as you can, and post that you have started a Hi-Lo club and invite people to contact you for more information. They are free to post on. I would avoid anything that cost money. It just takes time, and getting started is the slow part. I would also send an email to all of the current Hi-Lo clubs listed here on HTF. Again, introduce yourself and the name of your Hi-Lo club, and tell them that you would welcome any suggestions. They will also point people in your area to your club when appropriate, and some of them have lists of clubs and will want to add yours. Another suggestion is to start a free website, such as offered by Yahoo, to list the name, purpose and contact information of the club. You can also list any events when you have grown large enough to have them. Be sure to list any club news or events here on HTF too. The key is to network. We salute your hard work and welcome you to the HTF gang!
Best,
Neal and Bev
