Default 2014 National Hi-Lo Rally in Colorado

You are all invited to attend the 2014 National Hi-Lo Rally being hosted by the Rocky Mountain Hi-Lo Club. It will be held June 9 – 13, 2014, at the Colorado Springs KOA Campground.

The rally includes four nights camping, two dinners with entertainment, a tour of two major tourist destinations in Colorado Springs, a meet and greet for attending HTF and Yahoo Forum members and a social to discuss Hi-Lo maintenance, tips and answer questions. Please refer to the attached Rally Application for a more detailed break-down of what is planned.

If you have never travelled west (or east) to the Rocky Mountains, be prepared for an adventure with sights and experiences you'll never forget! If you are a returning explorer, welcome back to our clean dry air, clear waterways, pristine mountains and western hospitality.

Unable to open the attached document? Or if you have any questions, email: HiLo2014Rally@comcast.net

You can also ask questions via the HTF, but be advised that I may need to refer your question to another Committee member for a more complete answer.

You also can get these documents at the Yahoo Hi-Lo Trailer Forum: Yahoo! Groups

Could just be me, or using a tablet, but I get a message saying the attachment isn't in PDF format. Thanks RRB

Hi RRB,

Did the document open for you? That's the important thing.

I loaded a PDF document. As long as it opens for everybody, the magic works!

Yes, it works fine on the laptop. Tablets are great, but they don't always act like a computer, and won't replace one. Thanks for the info, and response. RRB

Unfortunately DH and I will not be able to attend... It's looking like he will be recovering from Knee replacement surgery.

Realizing that anyone can drop a "For Sale" sign in the window and put a price on anything to see what the market might bear, but would the Rally be a good place to look for a good selection of Hi-Lo's for sale?

Hi Joe,
No, I don't remember seeing "For Sale," signs at a National Rally. BUT, only having been to two, I'm really not a good source for your answer. There are however, on this Forum, a number of members who have attended many National Rallies. Retiredcamper47, you've been to a bunch of these rallies. Have you seen HiLos for sale at that venue?

Joe, if you live near, or are passing through Colorado Springs, and want to stop at the Rally, you could ask participants if they want to sell. Good HiLos are put up for sale by good owners all the time, for a variety of good reasons.

Also, you could start a thread here on the HTF, searching for a HiLo. Sellers do look and post here periodically and connections are made.

By the way, I found our current HiLo by Googling: "HiLo trailers, used."

Good luck with your search!
Jim

Thanks Jim. I do watch the "For Sale" listings on line by the usual methods. I just thought if it was common for owners wanting to sell to do so at the Rally, it would be a good opportunity for buyers to compare models and leave with one of their choice. It would also be a good opportunity for other owners wanting to move up or down in size. Where else could you go and see so many available for sale at one time? But thanks again for your advise.

Default HiLos for sale

I have only been to two rallies. The only units for sale were brought by our HiLo dealer. You will probably see more units for sale as the weather gets better in the spring time.

Hi Sam. I'm sure with Spring will come more "For Sale" listings. My original thought was what better place to compare the various size TT's and their respective floor plans side by side than at the Rally if there was a "For Sale" lot? I would also think the Rally would be a source of high traffic for someone wanting to sell.

Thanks for the input!

I wouldn't drive two or three days for a potential sales event and I sure wouldn't pull mine that far just to offer it for sale.

Use the internet to find what you seek, then contact the seller with your questions. If still interested then go see it.

Yes, I have been to a few rallies, 13 to be exact with #14 coming up this June. I have seen one or two HiLo's for sale at a rally, but not every rally. Hilo's for sale at a national rally are few and far between. Best bet is to contact different state clubs and check with them.

Hi Jim,

Are the National Rallys always held in June? Are they held in different locations every year? Hoping to be able to attend one in the near future!

Default HiLo Rally

JM Doring is on the road traveling to the national Rally and may not have access to a computer. The rally is always held the first part of June in different parts of the country. I've only been able to attend two. Guaranteed at be a blast. Lots of bang for your buck. Memories for a lifetime. Wish I could be there this year instead of getting another chemotherapy treatment on June 9th. Anyone going please post a report.
