Default Hi Lo Rally

First let me endorse the National Rally. The wife and I have only attended one and have great memories and many new friends from the rally. We had plans on attending this year and making an "out West" trip out of it, by seeing what is between here (SC) and there.

Unfortunately we'll not be able to attend. In January our youngest daughter and her five children had to flee an abusive marriage so they moved in with us. As you can understand that has turned our world upside down and VERY busy. So we'll have to be there in thoughts only.

Hope all who do attend have a wonderful time and someone will post some photos for us to see.
God Bless
Papa

Got here on Wednesday. Several units already here and a few trickling in each day. The office said 30 something units are scheduled to come in on Sunday. Just like a family reunion.

Too bad you weren't able to attend this Rally. This is the furthest west a National HiLo Rally has ever been held, so from CA the trip would be somewhat easier. There are few HiLo clubs in the west, so it's hard to say if or when another Rally will be held this close to CA.

Sam is correct. June is the traditional month for THE Rally.

Hi Jim,

Yes, that's unfortunate but I'll try to get to one eventually! Now, the only club I'm aware of in the West is the one in Colorado that's sponsoring this Rally. Are there any others?

Thanks,

Hi Greg,

To the best of my knowledge the Rocky Mountain Hi-Lo Club is the only active Hi-Lo owners group from the Rockies and on west. Once upon a time there was an active group in SoCal, in the LA area, and until just a few years ago, Arizona had a good club. We joined the Rocky Mountain Club because we'd heard they were very active, and because we'd also heard that the CA Club was waning. Distance from our home to either group was about the same.

At least once a year our Rocky Mountain Club makes an extended tour, and has ventured as far west as Lake Tahoe and the Oregon Coast. You may want to consider joining us so you can be a part of a west coast excursion the next time we have one. (You could even invite us to visit your neck of the woods).
Jim

Jim, does the Colorado Club have a website or newsletter?

Thanks,

Default Arizona Club

Jim , You have some bad info about the Arizona Club. Arizona has a strong club , I have been a member for several years. I just got home from the HI-Lo rally in Colorado and Arizona had 6 trailers there . We were one of the top 5 states as far as number of attendees.
So if any one out west wants to join a great group , Arizona club would love to have you.

Hi Tom,
My apologies. My info. was definitely out of date.
While at the National Rally, I enjoyed meeting and chatting with all the attending Arizona Hi-Lo owners, and was truly and pleasantly surprised to learn about the resurgence of your club! Jeanne and I really hope you decide to host a National Rally in the near future!
Jim
