The Great ideas forum was a big hit. lots of people contributed ideas , with a TV set up to show pictures of many of the improvement's people have made to their trailers.
I thought the weather was awesome , but coming from Arizona anything under our 110s would seem great.

Hi Tom,
The morning after the award ceremony, I was informed that there was an even older trailer at the Rally...a 1991 model. The owner had not filled in the year of manufacture on the Rally registration form. Not a problem, I'll engrave a second "oldest plaque," and send it to them.
We also had an award for the "Most National Rallies Attended." The winner had been to 19 total. I think that is all of them that have been held.
We were concerned that the tour to the 14,000 ft plus summit of Pikes Peak might be too much for some folks, but all who went seemed to be mentally prepared for the thinner air and heights. All did well!
We were also concerned that overall Rally attendance would be poor, because of the long distance, for many, to Colo. Springs. Especially since last year's Rally had a lower turn-out. But after cancellations for various good reasons, we ended up having 60 rigs (think that was the final count) gather for the Rally!
It was fun to eat lunch at the Air Force Academy Falcon "O" Club. Food was delicious.
Finally, the Rocky Mountain Hi-Lo Club, along with the sage advice of RetiredCamper47, and a few other experienced hands, organized the rally. It was all who attended who really made it a success. To all of you who made the trek west, making this a good experience, and a really fun Rally, THANK YOU!
