Default RV's 100 years old

The RV industry is celebrating is 100th birthday this year!

I recently spoke to Al Hesselbart, at the RV Hall of Fame. I had originally called him to find out if the Hi-Lo was in the hall of fame, it isn't, that'll be another project for us

Al is a very nice and very knowledgeable person. One of the things we spoke about was the RV Centennial. It's hard to believe that RV's have been around that long. Al say's that they've actually been around longer than that, but the industry as such, has been since 1910.

If you'd like to have a bit of fun, take a look at these vintage RV pictures on the RV Centennial web site.

RV INDUSTRY 1910-2010

Go RVing is a national site dedicated to the promotion and education of RV'ing. They've got a really cool site.

The reason I'm including it here on this centennial post, is that they have a very nice piece on the year long celebration. It's a fun read!

I spoke to one of the principals at the RV hall of fame regarding including a Hilo. He said there is no budget for restoration so the only way they (the board) would entertain a Hilo as an addition to their collection was if it was totally restored and delivered to them. Also it would require approval of the Board of Directors as well.
