we have a 2808 C and the AC is ducted of course below the ceiling.
Has anybody every replaced the AC ?
If you did = What model AC did you use.
I have checked with 2 places and they cannot match up a Dometic AC to use as with ducted goes into the ceiling and I am now thinking if got one that is non ducted and if could use my old inside cover and the rear of the new AC where the fins are might match up with the present duct work to go to the bath and bed room.

We replaced our 2808 C 2008 AC and with the replacement
Dometic pen 2 hc btu pw/641816cxx1c0

and had to use the old cover inside and the switches I just covered the place where they are with contact paper that was close to the wall paper color and removed the knobs
as you will need the digital programmable thermostat
model 3314080.015 = white or for black 3314080.000 that is for it and Dometic said needed another part =module or something but was not needed.
the thermostat was installed on the upper cabinet in the center part where an indent is and the wire was run from it to the ac as there was a splice right there in the ceiling and he removed the molding and run it right there and put the molding back on.
