Default Dometic Refrigerator not cooling

I have a 3-way refrigerator in my 1994 HiLo camper. When the outside air temperature is high (like 80 degrees or higher) the fridge does not cool. At night, on the same temperature setting, the fridge cools down into the upper 30"s. Can this refrigerator be recharged, or is it permanently sealed?
Thanks.

Have you turned on the fan? Kinda sounds like when the outside temp goes up (the temp behind the refer is above 100 degrees) the fan should be running.

The first thing I would replace is the thermistor in the inside of the refrigerator
The refrigerator works on convection for cooling, take a look on how you can move more air with a fan on the back of the frig
Not sure if your year came with a cooling fan , mine did but I put in a larger CFM computer cabinet fan in which is wired into a thermostat bi metal switch mounted to the outdoor coil
I also added a computer fan to the inside coil of the refrigerator on a seperate circuit and switch that I turn on during the day or traveling on warm days
The last thing to check is the exhaust grill on the outside of the trailer behind the refrigerator , screen on mine was not letting the free movement of air causing frig not to cool down on warm days
