Thank you so much for taking the time to post this!

We recently bought a 1975 Hi-Lo and have no manual or idea what we are doing

This helps so much! It is our family's first trailer and although we are excited, I think we are over our heads without direction.

Default Wheres the VIN ?

Thanks for scanning the manual. Very helpful!! Where would the vin number be located on a 1976 hi lo 16 ft trailer? Just got it with no title and would like to see if i can obtain one and get the trailer registered here in AZ.
Thanks, Alan

On my 1985 hi-lo the vin sticker was mounted to the outer frame side, passenger side, next to the battery/lift pump box.
Mine was covered by several coats of paint, but you could just make out that there was something under the paint.
I used a small plastic scrubber pad with GOOF OFF to remove the paint and VOILA there it was. Use minimal amounts of force and let the goof off work its magic!
I would suggest NOT using anything to scrape off the paint. The vin sticker is just that, a sticker, and any scrapping would have destroyed it, and the ability to read. By you or the licensing authorities.

Thank you also for the 1977 manual. I also have a 1975 HiLo trailer without a manual and this helps!
