I see Forum members mentioning former HiLo dealers that are still servicing HiLo trailers in various locations of the country. I was thinking (dangerous) that we should add a Dealer Listing to the Reference Library. So if anyone knows a HiLo dealer in their area that still is in existence and still services HiLo that can add them to the list. Maybe have the name, address, phone number, website, and customer service rating (1 to 5) would be sufficient.

HiLo dealer list

Great idea.We need to have this. Mantelli Trailer Sales Inc. 6865 S. Transit Rd. Lockport,NY 14094 (716) 625-8877 Fax (716) 8599. www.mantelli.com Parts Jay Simon, Service manager Steve Brandell. This RV place has been in business since the sixties. Very experienced and comitted to helping and servicing HiLo owners. They will ship parts anywhere!! A five star dealership. We even make the 1/12 hour round trip to have them inspect our utility trailer. They even sealed up a HiLo and put it on a boat for delivery to someplace over seas.

We will have to request the webmasters, Neal and Bev, to add that category to the library section.

Great idea! Not only does the list help local people find a dealer/shop for servicing, but when an owner is on the road with their Hi-Lo and something comes up regarding their Hi-Lo, the list will tell the owner if there is a dealer/shop nearby which is familiar with Hi-Los. As someone on this forum has pointed out before, if you pull into any dealer/shop (even for just a general RV item), they look at the Hi-Lo as if it is ET from outer space. I don't want a dealer/shop working on my Hi-Lo which knows nothing about the Hi-Lo, even if it is just for a general RV problem. If the dealer/shop knew about the workings of the Hi-Lo, you might be able to walk away for an hour or so to eat some lunch while they were fixing the problem.

If you leave it with a non HiLo dealer put it in the up position with the understanding that they are not to move it while in that position. All the systems, other than the lift system, are pretty much generic.
