Default Steele Rubber Products.

Quality Crafted Rubber Seals and Parts. Call for your free catalog. RV Weatherstripping Catalog. It contains 28 pages. I saw a few ones that pertain to our HiLos. 1-800-230-5897.

Default Excellent Website as well

Thanks for posting this resource. I called and they are shipping their catalogue. They have extensive rubber Products and "how to videos" on their webstite:https://www.steelerubber.com.

Bought my first HiLo in 1992 and replace it with a 26' 1998 Classic HiLo which I still own. Presently restoring 5 mid 70's Airstreams and your post is extremely helpful. Thanks for sharing.

Default Give credit where it is due.

I saw an add in FMCA magazine. Just checked out the website for the first time. Dh is a retired sheet metal fabricator. He got me interested in the Airstream Forum. Very familiar with the 70s Airstreams. Rotted floors, bumper seperation and many plastic parts. At least $10.000 to restore. Get them finished up as it is a very hot sellers market. Take lots of pictures as you restore and keep receits. In hindsight should have bought a used Airstream when we were in our twenties. DH could have made up some awesome parts. He is now 75 and to old to do this. We also have a 1996 26ft. Classic HiLo. Thinking our layout is the same.
