That's correct - mine is the same. But, mine turns the DC power off at the refrigerator itself. That's where I can select between DC, AC, Propane or OFF (for everything). So technically, the battery directly powers the selector switch on the refrigerator.

That's right. It's wired so the fridge can stay on while the other things like the furnace, water heater, and water pump are disabled by the main switch for safety reasons when the top is down. The fridge can function when the top is down and the trailer is in motion.
