I'm located about 3 hours south of you in the Tehachapi area. We went to Shaver Lake last year in one of our first campouts in the Hi-Lo, staying at Edison campground, and had a great time! We will be heading past your way in mid-October to attend the first California Hi-Lo campout in the Sonora gold country.
