Default Hello!

We are back to a Hilo! We have owned two travel trailers, and an older motorhome, all while the kids were growing up. As empty nesters, a 2000 19 foot hilo, a 2002 3023 Trailmanor and now a 2005 24T with a tip-out. Thank goodness we have all the original manuals and paperwork.
We are learning all over again, and this time my husband is getting up close and personal. He is quite handy and usually what he doesn't know he can figure out with a little help from the manual, youtube, and thankfully this forum.
Our first trip with the 'new' trailer will be a long one and we are hauling with an 05 V8 4runner. So far everything has checked out with just some cable adjustments, (thanks to the forum for direction), recaulking and sealing, (we live in Arizona, everything dries out here) and some new brakes.
We are caravaning with friends for two weeks and 2600 miles. I may be looking and or posting on our maiden voyage. We already have had some input and assistance here and we are THRILLED to have this forum available. :

Default Welcome to the forum

Post if you run into any problems while on your maiden voyage. Hopefuly everything will go smooth. It sure helps that DH is handy. My Dh is also very handy and did extensive repairs on ours for water damage. We have several forum members in Arizona. Preventive maintenance is a must.
