Is 2505 to much for my 1/2 ton 5.3 Chevy
With towing package ?
Looking at 5k lbs I believe

Hello,
I tow my 2589 with a Ram 1500 5.2 Magnum. Is it practical?; Is it ideal?...probably not!, but it's been working OK for me. I don't press/floor that gas pedal too much, especially going up hills, I ease into it. I keep the Overdrive off until I've reached freeway speeds (55mph+). But honestly, there's no substitution for a good strong tow rig. Hope this helps.

I have a 2807C that I tow with a 3.0 ecodiesel...used to tow it with a 5.4 triton f150...never had a problem with power with either one...fuel mileage is much better with ecodiesel though...I average 16.7 mpg using cruise control at 65...
