My best friend and I needed a place to stay while deer hunting up north, so we got a great deal on this 1978 hi lo. We've gutted it. New laminate flooring, barn wood paneling, all new cabinets made with real wood, including African mahogany counter tops.
All new electrical, with led lighting and re-plumbed with PEX.
We've added a utility sink, with hot and cold water, a storage box for the generator and a 2" receiver hitch for the deer skinning stanchion on the back bumper. The storage box has a stainless lid that doubles as a deer cleaning counter top.
We call it the "Good Ol' Boys" hunting palace.
