This elk just strolled down the road outside of Banff until he got to the grass he liked. We (and several other vehicles) were about 30 feet away.
This guy was looking for handouts; there was a restaurant in the chalet and the people eating lunch outdoors often game him snacks.
We came across this little lake on a hike up the mountain adjacent to Lake Louise to get to a chalet.
