Sunrise at Lake Louise. The sun rises behind my back and the first thing that lights up is the glacier on the mountain.
This guy was looking for handouts; there was a restaurant in the chalet and the people eating lunch outdoors often game him snacks.
We came across this little lake on a hike up the mountain adjacent to Lake Louise to get to a chalet.
Our first look at Lake Louise. The deep blue sky resulted from underexposing the image to prevent the snow from becoming washed out.
This elk just strolled down the road outside of Banff until he got to the grass he liked. We (and several other vehicles) were about 30 feet away.
