You're welcome! The new price is probably a more realistic one. From my experience with yard sales, you take quite a hit on selling anything you own that has be "used".

Thanks, Jack. There was no 'Edit' button so I posted a reply with the reduced price.
Thanks again for your help,
Kenn

At the bottom of your post, there should be a black button nest to the "Quote" button that says "Edit". If you click on that, it will open an editing window where you make your changes.
If you don't see that button, too much time has elapsed and, for some reason I don't understand, the forum mechanism prevents edits by ordinary members, even on posts they've made. If that button is missing, this is what has happened. And, I think you're stuck with me doing the edit or, you could add a following post to the thread showing the new price. I'm sorry, but that's all I've got for you.

Boy!, this forum makes me feel real stupid. How do I get to the editing tools to change the asking price for the hitch I want to sell? Thanks for offering to change it for me but I'd like to be able to do it myself... and I'd like to not feel so dang stoopid..

Ken, if the editing tools won't let you do it, just go ahead and add another post with the reduced price. OR, I could change it for you if you give me a link to the post and the price you want entered.

How can I modify my post? I'm selling a Equalizer 10K hitch and want to reduce the price in my ad.
Thanks,
Kenn
