Recently found for sale a 1997 Hi-Lo here. I called the man and questioned him about condition of the unit. He told me of two or three minor problems that one couldn't see, but said the trailer looked exactly the pictures. I'm in N. Central AR. He's in N. Central MI. A few days later, my wife called the man back. He still had the trailer. We stated that we wanted it, and would be at his place Sunday afternoon, and again I queried him about condition. He stood by his story on it's condition. We drove almost 900 miles. When we got there, guess what we found? It was exactly as he stated. His weight distribution hitch wouldn't work, so we spent about 5 hours searching and getting the proper hitch. We went back, hooked the 24 footer to our 2005 Roadtrek and took off. It tows like a dream. Fuel usage loss of less than two mpg. We are home with our "new" 1997 24' Hi-Lo. Already making some minor upgrades. I lurked here several weeks reading comments and input. very helpful.
