We have had a 92 22 footer for a couple of years. We recently went camping and needed the heater for the first time when boondocking. It wouldn’t work without the generator running. It seems to me that with a gas heater, the blower would work fine with our fully charged battery. Friends with other types of campers have no problem running heat under the same circumstances. Is there something I’m missing or not doing, or is this not possible in a HiLo? I understand that the air conditioning needs more power than the battery, but the heat? I am upset to the point that if I can’t have heat without being “plugged in”, I’ll be getting rid of my HiLo ASAP.
