We are in beautiful Colorado Springs and have been for about 29 years. We came here due to an Army assignment. We loved it so well we decided to make this our retirement home. We have family on the East Coast and Midwest. Everytime we come back during the summer we take a long breath of dry air, scrape the bugs off our windshield and breath a sigh of relief. Even in winter we notice that nothing is warmed back East or Midwest. We get in our cars here, after the sun has been shining and we might put our air conditioner on for a couple minutes to cool it off.

Bill and Kathy, what part of Colorado are you in? I was in the reserve at the Springs for almost 11 years. I'm by far no expert but there are a lot of people with a lot of knowledge on the forum. You'll definately get a good answer one way or the other.
