One thing to look at is where the lift cables are located...I had a 2902bx and the lift cable were in the middle of the windows...made the side walls weak and they were collapsing due to the stress...they just cut the windows in after the coach body was made and remove the stiffening supports...

The factory panel is 15watts...I think you are asking about the location of the charge controller....mine is located behind the refer accessed thru the lower panel....

I have a 2807C that I tow with a 3.0 ecodiesel...used to tow it with a 5.4 triton f150...never had a problem with power with either one...fuel mileage is much better with ecodiesel though...I average 16.7 mpg using cruise control at 65...
