I agree with Jack it sounds like the lift motor isn't getting power.

Take it to your nearest pop up tent trailer dealer and get cables replaced, ours broke and that's what I did cost was 600 bucks. We are still enjoying our hi lo.

I use WD 40 on ours on the pop up tent trailer i used a liquid to lithium grease applied like WD 40 but have got away from it.

Take your door lock to a lock Smith and have a key impressioned i did our Hi lo that way our cost was 60 bucks.

I took mine to our HI-lo dealer for repairs to our cables i would recommend that you take it to your nearest dealer and have them take a.look at it . Why junk it if its an easy fix the cost of repairs to ours was.off set by many years more enjoyment.....ours is a 69 Voyager.

The coiled cord is for lighting in tail break signal ect should be a seven pin plug actually power cord in outside of our 69 plugs in at top of window on drivers side to the shore power. A battery will be needed to raise the top via hydraulic pump you should have a switch in side to achieve this.

When the front cables broke on the 69 I took it across town to the Hi-Lo shop . Cables.had to be retrofit and made up for it as they were not available anyone run 600 bucks for the replacement.

I don't know of a manual lifting capability mine has the hydraulic pump lift no manual jack option . Would need to see a picture of the pump area you have to compare to mine.

That is a fun chaser battery needed for hydraulic lift assist.

Sounds like either a ground issue or trailer plug issue to me check bulb's out see if blown .

1969 hi-lo In search of the round lights the three on the back and misc single lens covers due to tree limb falling into it during the storm.
