Is there a way to raise and lower the trailer manually if the cable doesn't function?

Is there a manual way to raise and lower the trailer if your cable breaks? WE have a 1972 Bon Voyage. That is my husbands greatest fear.

We just bought a 1972 Hi Lo - 2 axels and it is in great shape inside and out. Looks like the cables are new. How do we lubricate them? Should we lubricate the guides and with what? Also, is there a manual way to raise the trailer, if the motor goes out or cables break? Thanks. Can't wait...

I am a new member. Thinking about buying a 1970's (seller say's about 40 years old) HiLo. Says it's in great shape with awning. Wants 2100 for it. I think that's a fair price. Going to see it Sunday. Anyone know about buying parts for these old girls? Thanks
