The ram on a friend of mine will not lift when trying the oil shoots out around the ram. Right now he is short of cash but He has a nice warn winch with power in and out which would not be hard to wire up to the factory switch with a relay set.

has anybody tried a winch to replace the pump and ram?

That level is with top down and the pump does not pump while it is going down only in going up. It uses the weight of the top to lower it you are just opening a valve with the switches to let the fluid back into the tank.

i just looked at parts sheet that came with my 1999 the fill plug is also the vent part number 03866

it sounds like the vent is acting up,or is over filled.

Flip the breaker off then back on. Also you have the a/c plugged in, on mine it plugs in in the bathroom

Besides the exhaust is coming out under the flip out so it could get inside real easy.

i am looking to replace the tires on my 99 towlite but i see some people don't like the goodyears,so what brand would you get?

on mine the motor does not run on going down, my bet its the battery you need to charge it or jump it. the charger built in the camper is a trickle charger.

i have had good luck putting moth balls in pot pie tin trays under the cabnets,beds and several othere places then take them out long before you are ready to camp to air it out good.

my 99 24 foot tow lite has a tabe in the frount lounge which makes a king size bed that folds against the wall and it has the side dinette.

if you have a battery powered test light or ohm meter un hook the wires off the element put the light or ohm meter from one of the element screw and other to the metel water heater tank if light lights up or meter goes to zero the element is shorted out you will need a new one.

the way i have my battery hookedup incase its down with a dead battery is i got a old set of jumper clamps i cut one end off and put one of these on the cut end then i ran a set of 4 gauge wires from the battery out the front of the pump battery box where the trailer wiers are run out.i left...

my 99 towlote has metal frame's in the upper half for sure i saw it when i changed the a/c and all the cabinets are wood.

what you are seeing is water in the trap which it and both sinks need some antfreeze dumped in them or they will freeze
