    Upper bunk use

Thanks for the replies. Since no one mentioned a ladder I guess Hi-Lo didn't provide one. I guess the best way is to let the kids scamper up from the lower bed to the counter to the bed. I have been thinking about making a narrow ladder, 4 - 6 inches wide, with a hook to go over the bunk...

    Upper bunk use

We have an upper bunk which we use mostly for storage. We have grandchildren that will want to travel with us. How do you get into the upper bunk? A ladder did not come with it and have not found any mention of one in the forums.

What funny story do you tell curious on lookers at campgrounds.

As we were leaving a campground going by a site with a family with kids, we heard the kids say, 'Look! A camper for midgets!'

    2000 24' Classic Rebuild

WOW! One inch? Guess I will have to put them back in the same depth. I will have to adjust the depth of the countersink for each screw so there is only 1/2 to 5/8 inch going into the ceiling. Now I know how much I have to play with. Thank you so much for the info and the quick response. I...

    2000 24' Classic Rebuild

No rust. Just stripped out of the holes. They are #10 X 1 1/2". Would like to use 1 3/4 or 2" replacements if the ceiling ribs will permit.

    2000 24' Classic Rebuild

Great rebuild r67northern, you are doing excellent work. Since you have removed the ceiling and the roof I have a question you can answer. I have a problem with my 2002 24' silver edition. The wall separating the bathroom from the rest of the trailer has dropped down from the ceiling. The...

Trailer battery not charging while traveling.

Rick and Jack: I did the test Jack posted. The TV receptacle with the truck running was 14.47V. The trailer battery read 13.70V. The trailer battery hooked to the TV read 14.27V. The trailer battery with refg running and hooked to the V read 13.64V. Yup, TV not keeping up with refg running...

Trailer battery not charging while traveling.

Hilltool and JackandJane, thanks for the replies. I can agree with you about the current draw. I will check that tomorrow with the TV and trailer hooked up. The wiring for the TV and the trailer are factory installed. I know the trailer is 10Ga and the TV I would say is also since it has...

Trailer battery not charging while traveling.

Hi, I haven’t posted for a couple of years, but I do browse once in a while. We have a 2002 24’ DL silver edition that we bought new and enjoy very much. Now we have a problem when we get to a campground after several hours traveling and the refrigerator running on DC. The top section does...

    Microwave auto start

Our 2002 Hi-Lo has a Samsung model MR5491G microwave. It began turning on by itself last year. It started at 3 in the morning! It would run for a while and turn off and in a few minutes it would start up again. I finally turned the breaker off. At fall winterizing I said I would look at in...

Just found this site last night and it looks great. Lots of info to be had here. Found the 800 number for ordering parts direct from Hi-Lo. I need a part for the outdoor kitchen sprayer. It’s the little blue plastic rod that attaches to the thumb actuator inside the sprayer head. I’ll call...
