Help! Power on AC or DC to charge battery

Thanks everyone for the advice. Turns out both batteries were bad. I've replaced them and now it's going up and down with no problems.

Help! Power on AC or DC to charge battery

Thanks for the advice. I'm pretty sure the batteries are good. I'm just wanting to know which current I charge on, and which one I raise/lower on. AC for one and DC for the other, but which goes with which?

Help! Power on AC or DC to charge battery

I was recently awarded my 2001 Hi-Lo Towlite in my divorce settlement. (which I'll be selling if anyone is interested) The problem is that my ex always did all the technical stuff. I need to know how to charge the battery in order to raise and lower it. Do I charge it on AC or DC? And do I...

    Platform Bed Completed

Our 24' had two dinettes. We removed the larger front dinette and put in a platform that holds a King size bed. Here some before and after pics.

    Storage Solutions

I should mention that I have two large hampers inside the wardrobe in the bathroom. With 6 people, we get a lot of dirty clothes. We just lift up the top and throw them in.

    Storage Solutions

I got the curtain rods at Anna's Linens, but you could buy something similar almost anywhere and hang them. Just make sure they don't stick out too far from the wall so they will easily clear when you lower. I store the bunk bedding and dinette bedding on the King size bed when we are moving...

    Storage Solutions

We sleep 6 people in our 24" Hi-Lo, so space is at a premium. I just wanted to share some little storage solutions I came up with, in case anybody else needs some ideas. P.S. I'd love to see more interior photos in this group. Decor and where/how everyone packs their trailers. I love to get...

    Where do you go????

We're in CA, but we go camping in Sequoia/Kings Canyon NP a lot and there are no hookups in the park. There are lots of places you can camp without hookups. You don't necessarily have to be out in the woods or in the backcountry.

    Hi Lo cost

I'm sure it depends on the area you live in and how hard they are to find, but that seems a bit high for a 1990. We paid $4000 for our first Hi-Lo, five years ago. It was a 1995 22ft in excellent shape, and we paid $4000 for our current Hi-Lo, a 2001 24ft that needs a little work. I think it...

    Paper Towel Holder?

Thanks for the replies. I'm thinking I might have to crawl into the trailer when it's down and see how much space I actually have in areas. I might attach it to the side/end of the upper cabinets or possibly inside a cabinet door. The only tricky thing about that is that the doors are so...

    Using Some Wasted Space

Not sure if anyone on here has done this before. But I found a way to use some wasted space in my trailer. This is the lid that opens on the top of the closet/hamper in the bathroom. I attached 2 fabric, zippered pencil cases to the inside. I'll put my make-up in one and hair accessories in...

    Paper Towel Holder?

I'm having a hard time figuring out where to hang my paper towel holder. I was wondering where everyone has theirs?
