    Slope of pull-down bed

I had the same problem with my bunk bed. It was uncomfortable to sleep in. After talking to J&R,I cut the top of the support arms (about an inch and a half) off and drilled a new hole for the bolt. The bed is now level and sleeps great. It is an easy and safe fix for this problem. The guy at J&R...

    roof a c

It is steel. As a matter of fact we had to replace some rusted out areas. I posted some pics awhile back of the rebuilding process. I'll see if I can find the post. Seems like it was titled ladder for drop down bunk. My sticker on the trailer says it was made Feb. 98.

    roof a c

I have a 98 tow lite. I had to rebuild the upper walls and I can tell you for sure , it has a metal frame top and bottom. It is a well built trailer. I did talk to a fellow member a while back that was rebuilding his upper walls and he said his had wood walls. I would check it with a magnet...

    Top half rebuild

wall material Thanks, I got it at lowes. It is called "white polywall". I think is is made for bathroom walls or other areas that need waterproof walls. I used it to replace all wood in the walls. If it ever does leak again it shouldn't seperate. It is all glued then pressed together using...

    Replacing a cable

I have one cable that scares me a little. It is really rusty on the top pulley. So, I purchased a new cable from J & R and I will need to cut to length and crimp the top end. My question is, Can I remove the old cable in one piece and build the new one to match it then install the new one...

Battery charger/ power supply not working.

Well, today I disconnected the battery and checked the voltage at the posts on the charger. I got .2v when plugged in and unplugged. I'm thinking I better start pricing a new charger. We have alot of thunderstorms here every week. I was wondering if a lightning strike could cause this...

Battery charger/ power supply not working.

So I went camping this week ( full hook up ) and noticed my lights growing dimmer after 2 days. I checked all fuses and wires. All were OK. I got another battery and used lights sparingly to finish the trip. When I got home I checked the output with a meter and found the same reading 12.2v with...

    Wingman

We installed one on our 98 tow lite and it works great. We were camping a few weeks ago and saw some friends camping not far from us. They were able to pick up 3 channels with a standard antenna while we picked up 12-15 channels. The only difference was the wing man.

    Top half rebuild

I got a 1998 21' Tow Lite about three months ago. Had to do a complete top half rebuild due to water damage. It turned out great, but I realized after we finished that the bunk bed was a little high to crawl into. Is there supposed to be a ladder with this camper? I will post...
