I have the old 12V lights from a '77 HiLo. I upgraded to modern LED fixtures. Also have an old door handle. The fixtures have the old plastic shades that hang down like old table lamps. One shade is missing and a couple are slightly melted. Others are in good shape. Total of 6 fixtures...

I'll pass on the charger/PS. Mine is working and just updating for a slightly smaller size is not worth it at this point. Was hoping to find one of those all in one boxes that included the inverter. Didn't know whether HiLo ever included them or not. Thanks! ArkTinkerer

What is your 12V/Battery charger like? Does it have the built in inverter? I just mod'ed my older model by adding a very large capacitor but would be interested in something more power and space efficient if the price was right. ArkTinkerer

Would you sand the old textured aluminum? I would think wire brush instead? I may be going at this wrong. Maybe just paint the top and use some sort of polish on the sides to polish off the faded brown? Again, buffing the polish out of the texture will make this job much harder than it would...

Talked to one of my friends about our trailer. He likes smaller ones but his wife wants a bed and bath (or at least toilet!). What is the smallest HiLo made that has a toilet. What is the smallest with toilet and shower? ArkTinkerer

Is your trailer aluminum or fiberglass? I've been working on the inside of mine but looking down the road I'll probably need to repaint the aluminum. I'm not really sure how to do prep work on thin aluminum without destroying it! ArkTinkerer

I patched mine from the inside with mesh tape used for drywall and epoxy. Then repainted the exterior. Looks fine, much cheaper than a new one. ArkTinkerer

Got'r done. Given size limits its almost impossible without PDF format. If anyone has a problem with reading these, I'll try another formatter. I used one quite a while back but it seems a lot of people couldn't read the results with their browser or a genuine Adobe reader. We'll see how...

Cleaned up around the AC. Model Instamatic IM22 with heater. Works! But the fan sounds like a tornado in the trailer. Tiny little fan in the back vent over the bathroom. Still sounds very loud. I like the quiet but there are times we really need the AC or at least a fan. Any suggestions...

Found a line of rivets down the side of the top half at the aft end of the trailer. These had a bit of fabric in them like there may have been an attachment to make the awning into a screened room kind of thing. Didn't find the equivalent up front though. I have not found any mounting holes...

I knew it was '70s model but thought it was reallly made in 1970 based upon Serial #7001. But I found its a model 2577 (1977 year). Pretty sure it's longer than the 25 feet maybe due to a tool/storage box on the rear. I'm going thru the paperwork trying to figure out how to scan and upload...
