I have a 1987 FunChaser. What's the trick to get the heater working? We are at the Buellton Vintage Trailer Rally in California. It's 45 degrees and no heat! We are huddled around the oven trying to thaw out from a sleepless night.

Am I a fool not to have these?

Make of fridge I had a friend take off the back panel, which I certainly can do myself....it was covered in dirt...and he had no idea what to do. I will take a look at it again, but I don't know what I am doing either. The picture below is the only info I can find on the fridge.

I'm at a vintage trailer show and the trailer is at a slight dip in the back. Now I've noticed the back end top part is lower than the front. Question: what should I do? Do I try to lower it and then raise it?

never mind!! I keep forgetting to hold the lever down WHILE pulling the loop thingy.

I just washed the outside of the trailer, getting it all ready for a vintage trailer show this weekend... I went to lower it, and nada. The deep cycle battery is brand new, hydraulic fluid up to the top. Any suggestions?? So frustrating!!!

Good news! They only had to lift the top part about an inch to release the squished cable and its working now just fine. Just wish I could have a re-do of my camping trip!!

Just pulled into my campsite. Just picked up the trailer from the repair shop last night. Apparent when they lowered it the squished the cable. It won't go up. What can I do besides drive the two hours back home? :( So bummed.

Just pulled into my campsite. Just picked up the trailer last night. The guys at the repair shop lowered it onto the main cable. Which is now squished so I'm stranded. Is there a way to crank it up in an emergency like this? I don't know what to do. :(
