What did you use for seals between upper and lower sections?

Does anyone have pictures of the seals between the upper and lower sections for an early 60's model? I am rebuilding the top section and the seals were removed during last remodel and a garage door bottom seal was used but doesn't work great, I need to come up with something.

Looks awesome, we restored same model back in 2013/14. made ours more custom but would have rather went original like yours but got overruled by better half.

I am looking for 2 wheels/rims for my 1963 HiLo for spares, does anyone have any or can suggest best place to match. Discount tire having hard time matching. 13" 4 lug pattern, 2 3/16"side to side measurement or 4 1/2" diagonal measurement

Sorry for such a late response, not on here much as you can tell. I cranked it up as far as I could and with a little muscle we picked up top high enough to place 2X4 across corners to support top. Lucky enough we didn't have to pull back much of the skin, just in the front.

I am in need of a spare rim for my 1963 HiLo 209. It has 13" tires (tires easy to find) but cant find a rim with bolt pattern (4 lug) and I am not sure what the measurements are.

Moonshot, It took about 2 months, we did it pretty cheap. It had been gutted on the inside and had some water damage to upper on bottom edge, only had to replace board under front window. We only put about $600 into it and only paid $200 for the camper.

I mistakenly noted the incorrect model number in the title of this thread, the model is actually a 1963 model 531-8

Misfit is correct, its 8'X3' white corrugated panel from Lowes cut down to about 48"X20" with a 1/2" aluminum channel frame and a 1 1/2"X 1/8" stiffener brace in center of awning I built, with arms and latches from another rock guard/awning off of another camper.

Lookin real real nice, keep up the good work. We just finished our little 1963 model 209 remodel, lots of work but worth the reward.

More mods I added a rock guard/window awning yesterday.

Thanks, it been a fun little project, can't wait to get on down the road. We are taking her on a national parks tour for 25th anniversary the end of the month. Thought the smiley would be a fun thing for passerbys when it's set up at camp.
