I did the same thing to my plumbing access hatch. It was 3 years ago, but I got a replacement from Midget RV and Trailer Service. I have also ordered parts from Rob at J and R. Rob was very helpful.

I called Randy a few times, about wiring questions. He did not know much about the Exilier Converters. I asked about returning the new board. He will take the board back, and exchange it for a whole new converter.

I am going to stop the project, the new main board was sold as a direct replacement. But the new board sticks out at least 2 inches out the front. Randy at Best Converter fix was to cut off the back of the old case and shove the board out the back. I will rewire the old one back in. Guys thanks...

We installed the same thermostat as Rich did. I do the same, remove the battery and reinstall during camping season. We have not had a problem. It works great. The new trailer life magazine, that just came out, had a story about how to change over to a digital stat, very good info.
