We are in process of redoing our day night shades and the valances. They can be fixed to like new if the fabrics are not torn.

Our 3102 had the tipout without a motor. The new 2807 has a motor. For some reason a big difference in weight although the same size.

It is time consuming, but it is a permanent fix. The plastic tracks just don't last, especially in Arizona. The heat wreaks them!

We had our original 2288 get stuck in the up position. Took days of troubleshooting before we found the hydraulic pump had accumulated dirt on the bottom contact and wasn't making connection. Cleaned, reassembled and good to go.

Will add more as I get through the steps. It isn't a fast process, but the repairs are permanent.

Hilo won't lower It happened to us, took 3 days to find there was gunk under the ground cable to the battery on the bottom of the pump. Husband disconnected, cleaned it and we were back in business.

won't go down We just went through that with our hilo. It ended up being dirty negative contact on the connection between battery and the bottom of the motor. This is on a 1988 Funchaser. After that was cleaned up everything is working fine.
