We just did a frame up on a 1963. What kind of parts are you looking for? I can help direct you to where we purchased ours. Do you know what model it was? That will determine floorplan.

We needed new rails for our 1963. We have not been able to find them. J&R could not get them anymore. If you find them, let us know!

We don't think ours are original (although they look to be the same age) but when hubby get home I can relay the info on it.

Our top was a full rebuild the only thing original are the windows and skin. Our bottom walls were in good shape. Let me see if I can dig some out.

If you look at the inside, there are no pulleys on the window and door ends though.

That's a really great question. Our 1963 has the pully/lift on the ends. When we go to see the one we are thinking of buying, I will let you know. The pictures of the 2 above don't show the pully.

I have scans of sale pamphlets that are from (roughly) 1960 to 1963 and the rear doors were not in any of them.

I am sure that depends on the model/size. They made more than one.

Our 1963 has a manual crank up. I think they switched to the hydraulic system in the late 60's or early 70's .

Thank you...my husband was an EMT :) Dad doesn't camp well anymore, we tried it a few years ago, Our Hi-lo is far from fancy....we have one bed....LOL

I wish I could take them! Dad is in a wheelchair, and our tiny Hi-lo can only fit 3 people.

My hubby wants to take the week off for this. I'm still trying to find a sitter for pets and parents (we take care of my parents).

In my opinion repairing holes never seems to work well. The fix is usually temporary, and you end up with way more damage in the end. Replacing the roof would be a better, more long term solution.

The top half has been totally rebuilt. It is all new. We don't have guide blocks, but rails that go up the walls on the inside. We solved the binding issue, we are just trying to figure out where it needs to be...so what is the sweet spot for the adjustments. We know it's not supposed to be...

She is officially off the boards and standing on her own...yay! She went down and up with no problem....but for some reason does not want to go back down again. The passenger front corner is bound up/hanging up. We will look into it more on Sunday when we have some time to work on her. Any...
