A week after getting our 79 hilo, (March 2015) we took a trip to Va from Co, stopping at Walmarts along the way. My advice is: have black-out curtains available, the parking lots are well lit!

Thanks for all the advice. I got a hose clamp, the pump will shut off when the faucets are turned off. The hot water heater works! We are well on our way to figuring all this out!

I cannot figure out how to light the pilot light on my stove. I got the oven lit, but can"t find where to light the top burners. My Hilo is a 1979. The stove is a Brown model Z0L035-XY.

Thanks Jack. The pump pumps water when I turn on the switch with the faucets open. But when I closed the facets, the cap on the end of an extra (?) line near the pump popped off when the pressure built up (someone forgot a hose clamp) so I wasn't able to test the pressure theory. Glad to see...

Is my water pump supposed to turn off automatically when we are not using water? Or do I need to turn it on and off manually?[COLOR="Indigo"][/COLOR]

When measuring a hi lo, do you only measure the body, or do you include the tongue in the measurement? I am trying to figure out exactly what I have. Thanks for any help.
