    Replacement Molding

    Jimmy1, I think it has a dual purpose of covering the seam and sealing against the bulb seal. The picture I submitted does not show anything broken. This is the area to the right of the door. My broken pieces are on the other side of the trailer.

    My error. After inspecting the other blocks, I agree that is has split in two. I will be ordering a replacement ASAP. Thank you all for the information.

    No the guide block was not broken. I removed the rail and slid it back in the slots of the guide block. It had somehow gotten out of the guide. I'll be watching it close the next few time I raise and lower it.

    Does anyone have ideas/suggestions to replace the exterior molding on a 1988 Funmaker. It appears that the molding covers a seam from the overlapping fiberglass. I have some broken pieces and want to replace it all as I am working on my repaint project. What about vinyl molding that would be...

    Guide off the rail

    FYI, Guide was not broken. I removed the screws from the rail (top one was a challenge) and replaced it through the guide.

    Painting faded vinyl graphics

    I just had the logos redone by a local graphics shop. I had 5 of them done. 12 in wide by 3.75 inches tall. $5.50 each. I will be installing them after I finish my paint job.

    Starting the repaint job

    Started my repaint project on the 1988 Funmaker. Cleaned, sanded, painted with Valspar spray can, and used 2 coats of poyurethane applied with a foam roller. Going with baby blue on the bottom half. I have a local graphics company making me new graphics. Still deciding on a top half color.

    It appears I have a guide off the rail from my 1988 Funmaker. Any thought on putting it back in its proper place?

    Thanks Misfit I had the opportunity to purchase this remodeled trailer from misfit last weekend. It was a great remodel and the wife and I are looking forward to taking it out.

    Hello All, Just purchased a 1998 20' Funmaker. Was in relatively good shape. Taking it out on a maiden voyage in 2 weeks (only an hour away with friends). Looks like this forum will help me a bunch. Thanks in advance for answering my questions. Kyle
