Hi Not that I am aware of, you could use a manual hydraulic pump if the electic one fails, but if the cable fails all you could do is jack it up from the outside ( no easy way to do that)

You are correct it did lower and rest on frame. When I took the picture it was bleeding out residual hydrolic fluid. I can get in side while fully lowered

Thanks all I got the top lowered. nothing is connected to the mechanism or the safety bar so I raised the top braced it and then manually lifted the safety bar and lower the top took a lot of jockey back-and-forth but got her done!
