    Losing water

Hi Jack- That’s a good thought about needing that opening as a vent. I never would have considered that, but I think you will proven to be right. I’ll have to reconnect that hose when filling the tank, then cap it when traveling. Tim

    Losing water

I found a solution to my problem, so no need to reply now. I was able to put a PVC "plug" at the tank outlet. I can take this off if I want the overflow drain hose connected, but probably won't use that hose much anymore, and just make sure I don't overflow when filling the water tank up.

    Losing water

I have a 15' Hi-lo, and when we camp at campgrounds that don't have water hook-ups, I have to fill the tank prior to getting there. However, the overflow outlet is at the back of the tank, and when I'm driving, the water comes out of the tank, and most of the time I lose at least 1/3 of my...

Good thoughts. I will definately take that into consideration when trying to remedy the water loss. Thanks again!

Loss of water on my 15T

Wow! I am so glad to hear from you since you also have a 15T. I could not find any drain valves as others suggested, because they have a longer model than what we have. After studying the tank & plumbing, the sloshing out while driving had to be the answer. I was just thinking of just...

Loss of water on my 15T

Hi again. The water level is purely visual. It is a semi-transparent tank, and I can see exactly where the water level is just by looking at the tank and watching it raise to the top until it overflows out the overflow drain. I had an experienced RV person look at the plumbing and he couldn't...

Loss of water on my 15T

Thank you so much for replying so fast. I'm back at home now, and filled the tank just to see if there was any leaking while stationary--found nothing to that, tank remains full. The tank itself seems in good shape and all around the tank bottom the floor is dry. I haven't driven with the...

Loss of water on my 15T

Hi- I recently took two dry camping trips with my HiLo 15T, and since they didn't have water hookups at the campsites I went to, I had to fill my water tank before leaving to have water when there. However, when I got to my destinations, both times I only had about 1/2 the water remaining in...
