    Question about my 1968 Hi-lo

Ok so here I am with good news. I did some research on the crapper valve. It is completely stock and it is a thetford valve. Now for the good news I can get a adapter to fit it to the ones everyone uses today for under 10 bucks. here is the link...

    Question about my 1968 Hi-lo

Thanks for the input Tree, here is another picture of it regarding the cable. As to being original I have no clue either. the floor is solid all over. it appears the boards were a space per say for the valve. Notice the guide in the picture for the cable. Now I must go lay on the cold wet ground...

    stabilizer jacks

find a 12 point socket the fits to end of your extension, like the end that you are trying to turn. By fitting the extension I mean the 12 point side fits the end. Then you can use it to put them up and down, as long as it fits in the tube too.

Ok and now I have another issue. After going over the camper a little better I have noticed that one set of rollers are not on the guide one the bottom half of the camper. I did get a little extreme in my attempt to fix it but I think the reason is that one of the rollers is froze up and won't...

    Question about my 1968 Hi-lo

Like I stated I will get under it Sunday and check for myself, the guy I got it from might have been confused. I do not really like the fact that there isn't a grey water tank on it but back then it wasn't a issue as such as it is today. So gotta figure something out for that.

    Question about my 1968 Hi-lo

I will slide under it again on my days off and get pictures and try to get them where you can see about where it is located. I am almost certain it comes straight down and that is it, but will check Sunday hopefully before it starts raining.

    Question about my 1968 Hi-lo

Ok so I haven't researched this but thought I would start with this and go from here. The guy I got my 1968 20' HiLo from told me that the new sewer hose connector is bigger than the stock connection on the under side of my camper, is this true? If so can I change it out to a modern one or can I...

    1968 Model 200

Treeclimber, yes it has surge brakes but the guy said they didn't work.....I will attempt that after we get it the way we want it. As for the redoing it, we are planning to repaint the upper and lower panels back to gold, and what is white now will then be red. And polishing everything else out...

    1968 Model 200

Ok I will try to answer ya'lls questions the best I can. VPed it is not a solid wall around the "bathroom". the wall running the length of the camper has a latch that when you undo it the wall then folds in over the stool, then you lean the across wall towards the rear, and then there is a mini...

yes in the picture where you can see the AC, the bath room area is behind that corner wall facing us. It is a stool in a shower pan with the shower had held hooked to the bathroom sink. So you can actually sh&t, shower and shave all at the same time LOL

    Howdy ya'll

I am trading for a 1968 Hi-Lo camper this weekend and can't wait to get it. I am from southeast Kansas. He wasn't sure as to the size but thought it ia a 16 or 18 footer. Looks to be in really great shape.
