i have a 2004..28c and my slideout/kickout bracket broke off from outside of slideout due to wood rot...want to repair it myself....any suggestions???...need to take out window, also remove skin/panel to repair wood...

The bracket that attaches to the tip out on my 2004 28c ripped out today, due to wood rot... I am trying to find out how to fixit...i.e...removing skin and window for replacing wood rot.?....i am pretty handy, but don't want to make mistake doing it...also need new lift bracket...any help...
