My manual override has so much pressure on it that I cannot manipulate the pump by hand. Any thoughts ?

Tree do you think I might have an obstruction in the pressure line to the cylinder also ? I can't explain why I have so much pressure in the pump housing. It's not going anywhere.

The motor engages and starts to lift them stops. There's a lot of pressure in the pump, so much that I can't operate the manual override. I'm addition there's a slow leak in the ram itself near the fluid connection but not at the connection. I just bought the trailer and the pump was leaking...

I bought my trailer , used , with the lift motor loose ( not attached to the drawer that it is housed in ). The motor was not operating correctly due to leaks in the pump so i had too lift the top section by hand and i don't have an owners manual. Short story is i have repaired the leaky pump...
