I noticed an issue yesterday that seems to be created by the heating up of the exterior outside wall. When the wall on the drivers side heats up from the sun it must expand and it creates about a 1/4'' gap with the bathroom wall. Is this a common issue?

Are there any tools or tricks to know how to replace the bathroom faucet? When I look under the sink it is almost impossible to access the underside of the faucet in order to disconnect the hose fittings. My body isn't able to go into the contortions to do this.
