Hello all!
My first real post here.
I have been on a many year hiatus from my project van. UJOR 8" kit 03 EB-350 Cargo 7.3. with 37 x 17
Its time to lay out my roof rack! I'm not sure if there is a "standard" or "ideal" cross rib spacing like 16" centers i.e. construction? I'm going/have...
Hi. New member here. Just bought a 2024 Sequence and have not yet picked it up from the dealer. First time RV owner. Reviewing these forums, it looks like I'm in for a steep learning curve. A few questions in the meantime before I pick up the vehicle:
1. Does anyone know what size tow hitch...
Hi there,
I'd like to mount a roof rack, but I want to be sure that if I drill into the aluminum frame member, I won't hit any wires.
Question: Does FWC place wires within the actual frame members (or am I safe to drill there)?
I really appreciate everyone's advice - thank you very much!

Here is my long winded caption from instagram that I've edited for this skoolie forum:

Hi there,
Has anyone implemented a surfboard rack or has a recommendation for a roof rack system with cross bars that can fit on a Tranquility? Because of the current mounting of the AC, Winegard, and solar panel, I'm pretty sure that a custom setup is going to be needed. Just curious if...
I have a 2001 10' cabover camper and want to install a rack using brackets similar to the ones that are installed by the factory. I intend to install the front rack brackets in the location where they are installed by the factory. I want to install the rear brackets along the side of the camper...
I am selling my Aluminess roof rack that fits the regular body style fords from 92-2014 with a penthouse/poptop. The rack is half perforated platform and is set up to handle two solar panels up front. (solar panels and light not included)
I am asking $2,400 but am open to all offers.

Hey all, finding lots of info on mounting solar panels but nothing that really jumps out at me. Got a few questions if anyone has ideas
1. I'm pretty sold on unistrut, but some people say they wouldn't bolt it through the channels.. why is that? is it a thermal bridging kind of issue?

Good Evening,
We will be wintering in New Mexico and I want to add outside storage to our 28 foot Jay Feather. Any suggestions for roof rack systems or back of the trailer storage?
Many thanks

Time to move it.
I removed the factory roof rack to install more solar panels (and went to a "side rack" for my stuff).
Complete with screws and hole covers. It's maybe 10 lbs, but awkward to ship.
Hi Folks,
So I want to put a roof rack on my SMB pop top, but I am concerned about having the weight on the pop top. The rack would weigh around 70 lbs and I wanted to know if that would put too much strain on the op top being able to be raised. Anyone have any insight into this?
Thanks in advance for the feedback! I searched and searched the threads but couldn't find an answer to my questions.
I just purchased a Ford E350 EB and will be throwing a 24" Fiberine top on it. I have to choose between the Transit style top and the Bubble top. The reason I'm considering the...
My next project is to mount three 100w solar panels on my van's curved fiberglass high top.
I decided among all the mounting options and the risks involved with each, that my best bet to get all three panels mounted would be to install a roof rack via artificial rain gutters.
I want to do...
I've got a 2005 Eagle and would like to add a Yakima track roof rack system. Obviously the roof has been pre-drilled to install the roof, so that means we'd have to remove 8-10 screws per side, and then either plug the holes or (hopefully) re-use the holes where possible when installing the...
This thread got me fired up to redo the roof on my RB-50 manual penthouse top.
In researching Unistrut I am seeing quite a bit of mentions on other forums of 8020. The 8020 looks to be quite a bit more expensive, but seems to have a lot more attachment options than unistrut. It also looks...
I've recently purchased a 2005 FWC Eagle (2-piece roof) and would like to add a roof rack to carry paddleboards, canoe, etc.
What is the optimal front-to-back location to position the roof rack cross-bars? One consideration I have is loading my canoe (~70lbs). I thought I might be able to add...
Aluminess is awesome! I went to their shop in Santee California and got the following upgrades done. Roof rack , ladder, cargo box with rails and a front bumper. The pics don’t do it justice. Aluminess Products are the icing on the cake and the cherry on top. I 100% highly recommend...
If you don't follow us on social media yet you may have missed this build? This build started out with a 2 wheel drive lift kit running 33" tires and it was a really nice ride. Of course it couldn't just stop there! Next up was a complete make over and you will have to watch our videos to see...

Hi all,
I haven't been able to find any threads on a roof rack system for a tent trailer.
We bought a 10SD and I want to haul our bikes around with us. Currently, we have to put all the bikes in the back of the van.
Does anyone know of a roof bar system that doesn't need to be screwed into...
Hi, I saw this Baja Voodoo companies add on Denver Craig’s list. I am wondering if any of our members have experience with their products. I asked them a question and they got right back to me and they seem to have a nice operation. Thanks for your input.
Hey folks .......:b5: I wanted to share with you some of our new products including our new style roof rack. This rack features an all aluminum construction for those of your concerned with weight. To change things up a bit from the traditional racks we did a rolled top tube that just screams...
