Hello,
I'm looking for a successful way to access the rear slide motors.
I'm getting a trouble code saying either motor or motor wiring is at fault.
Is this easily accessible or is there possibly a trick to access the motor?
The slide is currently in.
Thanks,
Two questions: I am convinced I have a bad motor on the main slide and need to take it out and order a replacement. How do I get the motor out. From the threads I’ve read people referred to removing a rubber boot. Is this the entire seal around the sides of the slide. Anyway, if someone could...
A while ago someone (cpcs07)posted on this topic-on how they purchased a 14’ awning to cover the slide and wished they had purchased one 14’6” instead. I have a 2023 Avenger 27DBS. Anyone else have any thoughts? The price jumps $162 for another 6”. We are finding the slide out is out way more...
RV: 2019 Arctic Wolf 298QSL8 5th Wheel
Problem Slide: Dinette (passenger side)
So we were sitting around our dinette and there was a sort of bang! and the floor dropped. You could see it moved down about an inch from the inside. I'm a big guy, and we're full-timing, so it sees probably more...
My bedroom slide errored out due to low power (my mistake) when extending. Went through the reset procedure. I had to reset the stops as I was getting the seven red light flashes. The issue is one of the two motors does not work. I hear a click when attempting to engage the motor, but no...
Hello,
We recently purchased a used 2022 Wildwood 31KQBTS. When viewing the RV the slides were open. Now that we have it home we cannot get them to open again. When pushing the slide out button, it does make a noise that sounds powerful. We are not 100% that the battery is good, we have charged...
Riverstone Legacy 38RE. Tire tread came off under the kitchen slide and tore out all the wiring. Rewiring has been a pain but the A/C lines were pretty straight forward. The D/C not so. Has anyone seen this item? What is it and how is it wired into the D/C wiring? It was found loose in the...
Has anyone ever had an issue when opening or closing the slides that both front slides work off the same switch?
My 2010 330TS has this problem since I bought it. The bedroom slide works off one switch but the 2 front slides open together on one switch and close together on another. One of the...
NoBo 19.6. The curved plastic shower screen glides on rollers in a track on the top and bottom. The screws on the rollers vibrate out leaving the doors all wonky. I’m in my 3rd repair and using lock tight on the screws this time. 3 miniature hands would make the job easier. Has anyone wrestled...
I have a 2020 Wildwood X-lite. My slide will seat completely against the top of the roof of the RV, however is about 3-4 inches out at the bottom. Is there a way to adjust? I called a mobile RV dude and without even looking at it, he told me $1500 for the slide mechanism and $800 for his...
Good day all. The edge of the flooring in my Trailer is slightly bent up and then it is worse at the corner near the fridge. I think this is from being push up against the end of the breakfast bar when the slide is reteacted. Has anyone encountered this and if so how did you solve the...
2024 Coleman Rubicon 1708 BH. Its a cable slide system. There are three slide rollers under the slide in an integrated slilde roller/slide trim and gasket strip. The roller mounting screws have completely ripped out of the camper and while the slide still moves in and out, the rollers are...
It seems that the flange against the wardrobe slide on my 2606WS has come partially loose. See attached photo. It appears that it is attached with some sort of adhesive. Any advise on re-attaching? (Picture is sideways )
On my 2006 Dynamax Grand Sport the teflon bottom of my rear slide is becoming separated. Please refer to the attached two pictures. I am asking for advice on how I can repair this at home. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks. Mike
Noticed a couple of weeks ago a little draft coming in my wardrobe slide. Seals were ok as it was coming from the frame of the slide-out assembly and the wall cutout.
I winter camp and just never noticed it before but then it was pretty windy and was just a small draft. I have some two inch...
I hope im posting this in the correct forum, this being my first post...
I have a 2015 Forest River Vibe Extreme Lite - Model 279RBS I can't get the slides to work...
Here's what I've done so far but I'm stuck now.

I initially noticed the bed was angled toward the right when sliding in. Now the bed is showing a code - 4 red and 2 green. I can move it in or out so far by repeatedly pressing the button as it moves a small amount each time.
I called Lippert customer service and he said it is either the #2...
We bought a brand new 2024 Rockwood 2720IK in late July.
It's been at a dealership since mid September. As of today that means we've been waiting for 7 weeks this Saturday so we missed 2 months of planned trips this summer.
The camper had a few defects... hot water heater is being replaced bc...
I have a 2000 FR Sunseeker 24' motorhome (C). My slide opens and retracts okay. I have noticed that the top closes tightly, but the bottom is out by about 1 inch. Is there a way to adjust this without going to a RV repair shop?
Any ideas?

This is very dangerous and a Forrest River needs to address it. We have a 2023 Georgetown GT5. The dinette slide out is right above of the generator. The exhaust points 90 degrees outward toward the edge of the coach but when the slide is out, it puts exhaust right up into the coach...
Hello, just recently over the last 2 weeks, we have been noticing a noise coming from our slide out. We have a 2016 apex coachman, 28 foot with a bunk house room. We only have one slide. Up until recently we've had no issues with it. The gears get lubricated twice a year.
When we extend the...
Got my 40015 rubber seal treatment. I’ve been working my way around the coach getting all the bottom and side slide seals. I’ve been using a telescopic rod with a sponge attached to reach the height of the slides and working to get both sides of the seals (inside and outside). Now I’m up on...
